We are holding a formal consultation on a proposal for John Rankin Infant and Nursery School in Newbury to join Maiden Erlegh Trust.

Why this consultation is taking place
The Department for Education has confirmed that John Rankin Junior School must join a multi-academy trust. Because both the Infant school and Junior school share leadership and governance, the Governing Body believes the Infant and Nursery School should join the same trust, so the community can move forward together.

Join a consultation meeting
- 30 June, 3.45pm – Staff meeting
- 30 June, 5.00–6.00pm – Parent/carer meeting (at school)
- 9 July, 5.00–6.00pm – Online meeting
